As a non-profit membership and advocacy organization, the mission of the Black Administrators in Child Welfare of Illinois (BACW) is to advocate for culturally-appropriate services for African-American children and families in the child welfare system, and to promote development and support of African American leaders in the field.
BACW is committed to strengthening and supporting the healthy development of African-American children, families, and communities through advocacy. We are also affiliated with the National Black Administrators in Child Welfare located in Bethesda, Maryland.
